Clinical Team Lead

This is a new opportunity for a portfolio clinician to join our forward thinking and friendly practice to provide clinical management for our doctors, nurse practitioners, pharmacist and practice nurses.

You will be supported by the GP Partnership Governance Leads and CQC Registered Manager to deliver clinical management and services. You will ensure a wide range of clinical services, preventative medicine and health promotion are delivered effectively to the practice population. You will ensure the delivery of QOF and other contractual and legislative obligations including the requirements of CQC registration. You will also be in a position to examine and develop new clinical service opportunities as they arise

We will also expect you to lead clinical supervision and appraisal within the practice as well as advise the nursing and administrative team when clinical dilemmas arise. You will be working closely with and complement the services and skills provided by our Practice Manager.

You will be a registered healthcare professional, ideally with experience working in a primary care environment. You will be able to demonstrate a wide range of clinical knowledge and skills and have an understanding of health issues, health promotion and public health. You will have a broad knowledge of clinical governance and clinical risk management and the ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team.

Hours: 12 hours per week.

Healthcare Assistant

We are looking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic and experienced Healthcare Assistant to our friendly team who can demonstrate a genuine interest in working in Primary Care.

The role will include normal general practice duties such as phlebotomy, taking and recording BP/BMI/ECG/24 hour BP and ECG, testing urine and health checks. Previous work in a hospital or GP setting is essential and knowledge of SystmOne clinical system would be advantageous, but training would be given to the successful candidate.Ability to administer flu or B12 injections is desirable but not essential.

We are looking to fill up to 16 hours a week over a total of 4 days, with normal hours of work 0900 to 1300 then 1400 to 1800. There is a degree of flexibility for the right candidate.
