Gail Foreshew (f)

Gail qualified as a pharmacist in 1998 working at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS trust for 14 years before moving to Devon. During this time she qualified as a prescriber working in the Emergency Department and acute medicine.

She worked for NEW Devon CCG as their patient safety pharmacist for 7 years where her special interest was medicines in care homes.

Gail is married with 2 young boys who she enjoys bringing up in the Devon Countryside.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Their telephone number is 01404 816019 and they are based at the hospital, generally available to answer calls between 09:00 and 10:00.

The community nurses and midwives work with the doctors at the surgery. They can be contacted on the medical centre number.

Your doctors may ask the help of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, psychologists and hospice nurses from time to time.
