Dr Chris Dilley (m)
Senior GP Partner MBBS(Lond,1984) MRCGP DCH DRGOG DOccMed Dr Dilley has special interests in Child Development, Occupational Health and is a GP Trainer. His interest in Occupational Health started whilst looking after the staff at Ottermill Switchgear. This local factory has since closed but used to produce electronics for international industrial and defence markets. He is proud to maintain our long established and excellent reputation as a training practice, which has now expanded to encompass undergraduates too. When not at work Dr Dilley can often be found out sailing. |
Dr Simon Kerr (m)
GP Partner
MB BS BSc MRCGP DRCOG DGM DFFP Simon has spent eighteen contented and busy years at the Coleridge Medical Centre, including twelve years as a clinical assistant in older peoples mental health as well as Clinical lead for Carers in Devon. He is now interim Vice Chair of the Eastern Devon Locality, the largest sub division of the largest Clinical Commissioning Group in the Country. Simon is married with three teenage boys, probably happiest singing and creating the practice partner's cabarets & has been known to dabble in a touch of karaoke from time to time.Tropical plants, soft fruit & palm trees are amongst his non clinical interests. |
Dr Katharine Gurney (f)
GP Partner MA (Cantab) MB B Chir 1998 MRCGP DRCOG DFFP Dr Gurney has been a GP partner since 1994, working half time since 2004. She was previously GP Registrar in the practice, and is now involved in GP training for the Peninsula Deanery. In addition to this, she is actively involved in Devon LMC as a Representative for East Devon, sitting on the LMC Board and working as safeguarding lead. Last but not least she is also a busy mother, and wife to a local consultant orthopaedic surgeon. |
Dr Nigel de Sousa (m)

BA MB ChB (Dublin, 1990) MRCGP DRCOG DFFP Dr de Sousa trained at Trinity College in Dublin. He enjoys the wide clinical scope of General practice, particularly enjoying Child Health, Dermatology and teaching medical students. He is married to a local GP and has two great teenage children. His main hobbies centre on sport, especially squash and cycling. One day he will make it to the top of Peak Hill without having to stop! |
Dr Emma Stuart (f)

MA (Cantab) BM BCh (oxon) MRCGP FRACGP DFFP Dr Stuart initially trained as a urogyneacologist before becoming a GP. Her areas of special interest are urology, gynaecology and women's health. She also has an interest in teenage health. and helped to set up the Teen Health Group and Teen Health Website at King's School Ottery. When not at work she spends time with her three children enjoying all Devon has to offer. |
Dr Juliet Nelson (f)

MB Bch BSc MRCP MRCGP Dr Juliet Nelson qualified in Bristol in 1988 and has a BSc in Psychology. Dr Nelson practised general medicine and achieved MRCGP before working overseas and returning to GP training in London. She also completed an academic post in the Department of General Practice, St Georges Tooting before becoming a partner in a 5 doctor urban practice in Wimbledon 1998-2005. She has been involved in teaching ever since. Dr Nelson moved to a GP practice in Cullompton in 2005 before joining the Coleridge Medical Centre in 2016. |
Dr Sally Caswell (f)

BSC MB ChB MRCGP DRCOG DFFP Dr Caswell moved to Devon in 2009 having previous been a GP partner in Canterbury, Kent. She enjoys skiing, walking and outdoor activities with her 4 boys. |
Dr Sarah Fletcher (f)
GP MB ChB MRCGP DTM&H Dr Fletcher trained in Leicester, qualified in 1995 and after working overseas qualified as a GP in 2002. She has been with the practice since 2015. She enjoys skiing, sailing and walking with her family when she gets the opportunity. |
Dr Angharad Jones (f)
GP BMBS, DRCOG, MRCGP Dr Jones moved to Devon to study medicine. She completed her GP training with us before taking up a permanent GP post with the practice. |
Dr Alex Werhun (m)

MBBCh MRCGP BSc (Hons) MRes Qualified from Cardiff University in 2006. After working in hospitals in U.K. and Australia qualified as a general practitioner in 2014 in Exeter. I've locumed at Coleridge for the past two years and am now a salaried doctor here since March 2017. Enjoy spending time with my family, traveling especially where scuba diving is involved, in the gym and following West Bromwich Albion. |
Dr Louise Knight (f)

MRCP MBChB (distinction) Louise trained in Bristol and qualified as a GP in 2002 , since when she has been working as a GP in the South West. She has an interest in elderly care and is a trustee of the Sid Valley Memory Café and the Admiral nurse campaign. She enjoys long walks, cooking , spending time with her family , book club , rock choir and supporting the Exeter Chiefs. |
